Weather and climate on Margarita Island
range from dry to tropical humid
Climate:
The climate is all year round warm with average daytime temperatures from 25° to 35°C.
The seasons:
On the whole one can describe the climate in Margarita in the following seasons:
- January to the end of May
Dry and windy, the main wind season. In the evening it can become cool! Bring a sweater.
- June to the beginning of August
"Rain season" with occasional morning storms, which leave quickly by middday, leaving usually a wonderful, blue sky with nice, steady light wind.
- August to the end of September
Dry and very hot. A lighter wind mellows relatively regularly, particularly in the afternoon, the temperatures
- October until December
Somewhat changeable, the days with full day wind are getting gradually more. From the of Decembers on frequent rainfalls are possible, usually however only on the mainland and Isla Coche. Starting from mid December more everything dries up and the wind gets stronger and more frequent.
